Where the garbage goes

Quick as a hare, Aurora calls her aunt Elsa, who even quicker, like a.. a... super-hare, brings her car to help her niece.
-What are we doing jelly bean?- asks aunt
-Let's follow that truck auntie. I want to know where the garbage goes- says Aurora
After 30 minutes of driving they leave Vancouver and end up in a recycling center. Aurora and her aunt go inside.
-Wow! What are these people doing?- asks Aurora
-They are separating the different type of plastics jelly bean- says aunt
They decide to go speak to the supervisor of the plant, who happens to be a biologist:
-What percentage of plastics actually get recycled?-
-The percentage goes around 4%, and in a good day, 5%- says the supervisor
-Only 4%!!! What happens to the rest?- asks Aurora
-Most of the plastics end up burrowed or in the ocean. The biggest problem are micro plastics. Small pellets that pass through the plants, so small that sometimes we can't even see them!- th supervisor says
-Sometimes, these pellets are so small they make it into the base of the food chain in the oceans and lakes. From plankton to crabs, to fish, to us. From time to time, animals are found dead on the beaches because of plastics - he added.
